The Franz Stettner & Sohn company is one of the largest fine fruit distilleries in Bavaria. It all started with a bottle of lemon liqueur on July 12, 1949.
The company is now in its third generation and has its own fleet of vehicles, a tank volume store of over 3 million liters and six fully automatic filling lines on the 40,000 m² company site.
In the assortment you will find a wide variety of fine fruit brandies and liqueurs, fine wines as well as sparkling wine, champagne, Federweißer, mulled wine, fruit and honey wines.
From the non-alcoholic in-house production you get: fruit juices, fruit spritzers, soft drinks and mixed drinks, energy drinks, ice tea, mineral or table water and syrups.

It all began well over half a century ago with a bottle of lemon liqueur. On July 12, 1949, the 21-year-old student Franz Stettner received permission from the main customs office to produce alcoholic spirits and liqueurs. The landlord's son, known in his hometown Kolbermoor as an athlete and a talented skier, now started a completely different race with a thirst for adventure under difficult conditions. One year after the currency reform and with the tightest of funds, Franz Stettner decided to take part in the reluctantly burgeoning business life in Bavaria, which was still under American occupation. Almost a year after the start, Stettner was able to expand the range by trading in wines and non-alcoholic beverages. Today there is an exemplary large wine cellar and fine fruit distillery at the end of Stettnerstrasse. In 1982 Franz Stettner jun. joined the company as a partner after completing his studies in Geisenheim as a graduate engineer for viticulture and beverage technology. Franz Stettner senior was particularly proud. his grandson, Franz the Third, who has been taking part in company activities with full enthusiasm since September 2011 and who is now running the third generation family company with his father.
The winery has a tank volume of over 3.5 million liters and two fully automatic filling lines on the company's premises of over 30,000 square meters. The noble fruit distillery and liqueur production is equipped with the latest stills and distillers, as well as four filling lines and has a tank volume of well over a million liters. Further modernizations and expansions are already being planned. The Stettner company is now one of the largest fine fruit distilleries in Bavaria. As far as the size of the entrepreneurial power is concerned, customers who have been supplied on time with the in-house fleet of 23 trucks and contracted freight forwarders have been testifying for many years. The Stettner company is represented throughout Germany by experienced and trained employees of the company, who make customer satisfaction and constant support their task.
